Mission

Lead: Prof. John Vissing. Founded 1998, Denmark's flagship neuromuscular clinic and research unit at Rigshospitalet (University of Copenhagen). Director: Prof. John Vissing, MD, DMSci. Full-time staff ~35 including 8 senior neuromuscular specialists, 8 nurses, 5 physiotherapists, 4 secretaries, 9 PhD students. Full ERN EURO-NMD member. Processes ~200 clinical muscle biopsies annually plus ~200 research biopsies. Runs 20+ active Phase I/II/III clinical trials.
