Centre for Neuromuscular Diseases at Essen University Hospital, DGM-certified as Neuromuscular Centre Nordrhein (MZ Nordrhein). Led by Univ.-Prof. Dr. med. Tim Hagenacker, with physicians Dr. med. Benjamin Stolte, Dr. med. Svenja Brakemeier, and coordinators Jaqueline Lipka and Britta Ney. Full outpatient and inpatient spectrum for ALS and SMA including electrophysiology (neurography, myography, single-fibre EMG, evoked potentials), CSF and lab diagnostics, genetic testing, and neuropsychological examinations. Scientific focus on clinical course parameters and biomarker investigations.
