Mission

Multidisciplinary MND center at University Hospital Leipzig with neurology, pulmonology, orthopaedics, and gastroenterology involvement. Senior Physician PD Dr. med. Petra Baum and Dr. Dr. Moritz Metelmann lead clinical care; patient helpline: Eike Hänsel. Involved in MND-NET (Ulm-coordinated) and Charité-led outpatient care network collaboration. Successfully recruited multiple patients for the ROCK-ALS therapy study.
