Mission
Lead: Prof. Thomas Meyer. One of Germany's leading ALS treatment and research centers since 2002. Led by Prof. Dr. Thomas Meyer (Head of ALS Outpatient Clinic) and Dr. André Maier (Head of Clinical Trials). 700+ patients under specialized care by a dedicated team of 5 neurologists plus ALS nurses, study assistants, and care coordinators. Services include individual ALS variant/course diagnosis, prognostic assessment, Neurofilament light chain (NfL) biomarker measurement, treatment in clinical trials and early access programmes, genetic screening, respiratory and nutrition support, and telemedical coordination via 'ALS app'.
